Brown Noise and ADHD: What’s the Buzz?
Brown noise isn’t named after the color — it’s named after Robert Brown, the scientist who discovered a kind of random motion called “Brownian motion.” The sound of brown noise is low and rumbly — think waterfall, thunder, or a distant airplane. It’s deeper than white noise and much softer than the high hiss of pink noise.
